KICKSTART KIDS is a community-driven organization. We believe in the powerful influence that community involvement has on our youth as well as in our everyday lives. We are dedicated to not only staying active in our communities, but having them play a crucial role in our program by staying up to date on KSK news, participating in our tournaments & fundraisers, and providing us with feedback to help our program grow.

It was an amazing experience in which I gained martial art skills and sense of character. Martial arts trains the body but the program also helped instill discipline, repsect, and many more traits. Without KICKSTART KIDS, I might've never known I had that kind of potential.

The program didn't spoon feed me blind hope for the future. It prepared me for the world as it truly is, and provided me with the tools needed to overcome any obstacle thrown my way. It gave me a family, which I was lacking beforehand. It taught me to always shoot for the moon, because, even if you miss, you'll still be amongst all of those beautiful stars.
Most importantly to me, the program gave me a father. My instructor filled the hole in my life that had been dug deeper and deeper over the years. The lessons he instilled in me led me to a greater state of confidence and understanding of the road that would lead to my destiny. I am currently serving in the United States Army as an Information Technology Specialist, and I owe this entirely to KICKSTART KIDS. I owe the very fact that I'm still breathing to KICKSTART KIDS.

I was in KICKSTART KIDS when it was still KDOOA. I had Mark Leach as my instructor and he was the absolute greatest. The time that I was in KDOOA was the best time of my life.
Unfortunately once I began High School I didn't have a whole lot of time for karate. I have to say that I really regret not making the time to go back, and would really like to continue my study. You guys are doing a wonderful thing. Thank you for everything you do and I can say that I know, first hand, the impact it makes on a kid's life.

I have a lot of good things that I can say about KICKSTART KIDS and how it's played a big part in my life, but that would take hours to talk about. So I'll try to hit key points.
I've always been a well mannered kid with lots of goals, but after meeting Mr. Stinson I learned how to always want more and never settle. This and many of the other teachings have helped mold me into a role model citizen capable of showing everyone that I meet that karate doesn't just teach you how to kick and punch but to also be productive and aim for your dreams, I'm currently still participating in KSK events even though I'm in college. I plan to continue growing with KSK and all of my friends as long as I can.
